Fun:
Do not buy this product.
I, like you, thought that this was the most stylish looking protective case for the Vita. The pictures make it look amazing. Don't be fooled.
I really very rarely review products on here unless I feel like I should let people know about them one way or the other.
Any interested person needs to be made aware of how cheap and tacky this case is. In addition to the horrible materials used and shoddy build quality, the case doesn't even properly stay closed. There's a millimeter gap in between both halves of the case which will lead to dust, grit and whatever else is in your bag getting inside and ruining your expensive Vita.
I also don't trust it to protect my console from drops - I'm certain it would shatter instantly, and the hinge certainly wouldn't survive the drop
I am very certain that you could get a much better case for much less money.

Gutted. Just dropped out of my pocket onto tiled floor from 2 ft. The case survived unblemished, but my Vita now has a slight dent and small crack on the screen near the left speaker. Luckily it still works and is not noticeable when playing, but still non chuffed.
Warming Vitas are fragile. This case is useless and looks no where near as good I thought it would. I will be replacing mine with a bulkier and better case.

Fun:
This is a very poor quality product. For a "VIP' case, the plastic used is worse then those glasses cases that opticians gives out for free. Definitely not worth the asking price.

Great Protection
I have actually dropped this case onto concrete with a vita inside and I have to say I was impressed!

Terrible cheap case
As others have stated this is a really poor case. Awful hinge which is easy to get your fingers caught in, keep away from children!

Avoid it
Extremely cheap plastic. Avoid the Thrustmaster PSVita cases at all costs (well, buy them if you get them for a buck or less).
