Fun:
The board looks good, but is a bit overpriced for what it is (and Amazon is the cheapest by the way!). Not really essential for the game.

This board is no good for using with games such as Shaun White Snowboarding, it makes the whole fit step less sensitive and does not detect when you take a foot off the board etc. A complete waste of money, stick to just the wii fit step

This board is very solid and just like a real skateboard. The surface could have been made abrasive/rough to make it even better match to a real board, but other than that is solidly built.
The best part seems to be the way it attaches to the Wii Balance-board device -- it has two bi-axial joints similar to the joints in the mechanism supporting the wheels in automobiles - that allows more freedom than just having the board lie on top of the balance-board. The board can not move laterally which would be best, but still allows a good angle of tilting pressing on the balance board in different degree. In this way, it tilts just like a real skateboard, which I believe is more realistic than just pressing on the balance-board itself or pressing on a board that is attached "firmly" to the balance-board surface.

Beware though from who you get it. Mine came from a third-party re-seller, packaged very poorly with a few scratches (however this is seller's issue, not product issue).
