Perfect Wii Fit Add-On,
By
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Thrustmaster Elite Fitness Ultimate Pack for Balance Board and Wii Fit Plus (Wii) (Video Game)
The Thrustmaster Elite Fitness Ultimate Pack is excellent for Wii Fit and is something that the board should have come with in the first place. The extra step is brilliant for the free-step routines in the game and the arm strap works perfectly while running. The weights also add an extra level of difficulty to the game.
Another added benefit of the step is if you have a very thick carpet and the balance board does not sit properly on it's feet, the extra height lifts the board away and gives you a more accurate reading.

Having read some of the reviews, I wasn't 100% sure about buying this pack but I went for it anyway. I am very pleased with the pack, surprised Nintendo don't do a similar pack that comes as an option. There was only thing that was missing - a cushion for my balance board. But I managed to find one of these on amazon also and together with the cushion I have a complete accessory pack for my wii Logic3 Wii Fit Balance Board Cushion Mat (Wii)
The accessory pack came very well packaged and was delivered quickly. My comments on the accessories are as follows: Exercise mat: Excellent product and longer than I expected! I lay mine underneath my balance board so that when I am stepping on and off the balance board I have a nice cushioned floor area. Also very useful to use away from the board for yoga/pilates exercises. Weights: Very stiff ankle/wrist weights made of beanbag. You need to bend them each way a few times to loosen them up. They do make a difference though, making the exercises more challenging. I also wear mine around the house when doing housework for some extra exercise! Step extender: Fits very easily onto the bottom of the board. Doesn't fold down much though and so is tricky to store but definitely does the job and makes the step up exercises more demanding. Pedometer: A bit too sensitive - if you run up the stairs it counts each step twice. If you lean down to a cupboard and stand up too quickly it also counts it as a step! So not too accurate/reliable as a measure of how many steps you've taken! Arm holder/leg holder/mp3 holder: All fine, not as good as the EA Active holders though... Holder/Carrier: Only fits the Wii board, no accessories can fit in. I use mine to store the weights and the holders and store my balance board in another place! Overall, I would recommend this pack to anyone who has a balance board and is keen to make the most of the exercises. It is also useful to anyone who doesn't have a balance board but enjoys playing exercise games as the weights and holders will add an extra element to the games.

Fitness pack as an addon,

The bag isnt as useful as I had hoped, as while it can store your board, and some of the pack, it cant hold it all! You cant put the stand in there, there isnt enough room, nor does the mat fit. The weights are stiff but one good squish and they bend well, and will be of some help, however, I would say for ankles or men you probably want heavier weights, or you would soon out grow these.
The leg strap is only useful if you have the appropriate game, but the arm one for holding the remote is useful, saves sticking it in a sweaty hand. Its main use is for while running, as most other things need you to be holding the remote. I was pleased despite the original quote of it being ordered, I got it nearly a week before the amazon estimate.
