2 of 2 people found the following review helpful By Mark Edwards on 9 Feb. 2011
If you like TG then this is a must-have. It consists of a number of gigs from 1980 and 1981, and three gigs from 2004/5, plus a couple of curios. The picture quality isn't that brilliant, especially on the early gigs, and sometimes the sound quality isn't all it could be - but then, the early gigs were recorded on primitive equipment. It's worth every penny just for the sheer intense atmosphere.

Of particular interest to me were the recording of Heathen Earth - so weird to actually see that after listening to the album for the last 30 years - and the Astoria comeback gig, especially the sight of the sadly departed Jhon Balance right at the front, dancing manically whilst still sitting down! There's a particularly touching moment when he runs on stage and whispers something to Sleazy. And the Lyceum gig from 1981 in particular is just awesome.

As I said, well worth every penny. Get it while you still can.

RIP Jhon and Sleazy.
