Three knock-out mid-fifties albums.

...but hey, for less than a fiver I'm not going to be picky!)
Highlights ? Crikey there's so many I hardly know where to start!
"It Happened In Monterey"; "A Foggy Day (In London Town)";
"It Worries Me"; "Can't We Be Friends?"; "I'll Be Around".
(Just wait until you hear that dangerously sustained
"...terrifffffffffffff...icaly too" in the second verse
of "I Get A Kick Out Of You" !!)
All definative performances. Confirmation, if ever there needed
to be, that Mr Sinatra was and remains one of the greatest
interpreters of some of the most marvelous songs ever written.
The CD transfers are warm, faithful and of very good quality.
Listening to "Ill Wind" right now, a fine whiskey by my side
and for a few short minutes this crazy world feels just a little
better than it did when I read my newspaper this morning.
Indispensible.

The perfect collection of three original hit albums with over 40 tracks for Frank Sinatra fans. Really worth purchasing and a great gift too.
Disc 1 'Songs for Swinging Lovers' was always my favourite when I was young and dewy-eyed. Such memories came flooding back when I listened again.
Disc 2 'Songs for Young Lovers' with songs such as 'Someone to Watch Over Me' and 'My Funny Valentine' is super.
Disc 3 'In The Wee Small Hours' contains some songs I hadn't heard before - much to my shame! However 'What is This Thing Called Love'?; 'Dancing on the Ceiling' are old favourites.
Oh - I forgot to mention the bonus tracks on all three discs! Worth purchasing the whole collection for these alone!

this is a must for any collection all three albums are fab crack open a bottle of wine or have a beer or whisky!! and put youre feet up and enjoy this bit of everything here swing jazz nice mellow moods my favourute cd was in the wee small hours cd out of the three that was more mello but depends on mood buy this i mean £5 what a bargain and the sound quality is amazeing!! buy it you wont be dissapointed unless you have no soul!! i bought it a few weeks back cant stop playing!!

I have never heard any Sinatra songs except the most famous of them like "My Way" and "New York New York", so was kind of apprehensive ordering this three CD set, especially as the record companies these days have a habit of normalising, compressing and generally b@sterdising all music they sell until it hurts your ears to listen to (especially re-released of albums).
Thankfully this three CD set is very well put together of some of Frank Sinatra's songs, not a lot of noise reduction, and clear sound. And for the silly price of a fiver, how could you go wrong in ordering it. This set is an excellent introduction to Frank Sinatra music.
The set comes as a 3CD cardboard flip-out which has the CD holders glued onto it.
If you don't have any of these three albums, then you won't go wrong in buying this set (unless you miss the original covers, and CD artwork etc.).

Running times CD1 62 minutes, CD2 63 minutes and CD3 63 minutes. This excellent Not Now release is bound to do well offering 3 albums and bonus tracks too. There is also definitive Nelson Riddle on the set and that will surely prove another selling point and I have not even mentioned the value of the set. This set covers a period of over 10 years because the songs on The Voice date from 1945 to 1952 with arrangements by Alex Stordahl and those of you who remember the original will know that it was a 78rpm album and then an early 33rpm release only becoming a full 12 inch version in 1955.Fine quality sound too. The liner includes full recording information for the set and there are 3 excellent photographs beneath the CDs. Liner notes are from Michael Heatley. A must for both collector and those wishing to replace worn out LPs at a keen price!

This cheap box set contains three wonderful albums by Frank Sinatra, and provides great value. There is probably not that much that can be said about Frank Sinatra that hasn't been already said, but in these three discs you get a varied look at his great talent.
My favourite disc is without doubt In The Wee Small Hours, with its melancholic and downbeat sound, it shows Frank at his poetic best, but all the discs are truly easy to listen to, and will provide hours of enjoyment. Sinatra's cool voice brings us to the core of what his art was about.
Grand and simple, this set is a must-have for any music fan.

Tres buenos CD's recopilatorios de Frank Sinatra. Se echa de menos alguna canción quedando espacio disponible pero en general son buenos recopilatorios. La caja, como en toda esta colección, es un cartón desplegable en tres partes con un CD en cada una. Viene sin funda por lo que, para servidor al menos, se agradece el hecho de no tener que retirar esta cada vez que quieres acceder al contenido.

OLd Blue Eyes is Back
It's a great album from one of Sinatra's best eras. I still have the original albums of Vinyl but have lost the means of playing them - these are just as good.
