So, I haven't read Creative spirit yet.. but its on my list. I have however read Cades Cove, and The Body Departed.. both excellent books!! Cades Cove is pretty scary.. unless evil ghosts don't scare you!!! lol. They sure do me. And The Body Departed was just a great book. I loved the characters. Would love to see more of them in other books. It'll make you laugh out loud, and cry out loud!! Great authors!!!!!

The first story was interesting and worth the read. 3 stars. The second was my favorite. It was not a horror story as much as a really good ghost story. 4 stars. The third story was horrible. It was plodding. It could have been half as long. The sentence construction was terrible. The best part if it were the native American characters. 2 stars. Overall rating : 3 stars.

Creative Spirit was good. I am a new fan of Nicholson when I want a fast paced entertaining read. This book was pretty good although the ending was a little confusing but I think that was the purpose.
My favorite of the three is definitly The Body Departed. I fell in love with it right away. I deeply cared about the characters and it was beautiful and magical. An amazing story about redemption and forgiveness.
Mt least favorite was Cades Cove. It started out good nut as the story dragged on I found quite a few holes and othe things that did not quite make sense. The characters seemed awkward at times and the dialogue was just cheesy and aweful sometmes too. It was also filled with cliches of the 'beautiful pleasant wives tht always cook and make cakes and fret over the men.' That made me role my eyes. But he definitly has writing skill and Despite the flaws i mentioned it was not boring. I wouls recomend anyone to read these books to see what they think.
