I first heard this sung by Peggy Seeger bringing a TV documentary about the late Ewan MacColl to a close. It is a beautiful song relating to the happiness and pain in sharing one's life with another you love. A match in my opinion to "First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" and perhaps better suited to Peggy's distinctive voice. I tried to find if it had ever been released on an album by the duo without success until I came across the compilation "Folkways Years, 1955-1992: Songs of Love and Politics"... I kind of greatest hits of Peggy's work.
While the mp3 download offered by Amazon is 256kbps, it should be noted this is VBR and not CBR. Played through Foobar it rarely hits this maximum bit rate and frequently falls below 192kbps.
