This book gave me hope,
By Julieanne (Kent, England) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Thoughts of Power and Love (Paperback)
I read this book for the first time in 1997. It's simple but powerful words really made an impact on me and offered me a real alternative way of seeing the world. Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway was a fantastic book, but Thoughts of Power and Love was instrumental in helping me create a happier life for myself. Even now, I only have to think of it or look at it's cover and I feel uplifted.I wanted to see Susan Jeffers talking in London tonight but couldn't make it but just making this contribution tonight makes up a little bit for missing her. I can't wait to read her latest book.

Amazing book!,
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Thoughts of Power and Love (Paperback)
This is a book filled with positive statements, short and long. They are grouped by topic, and make a great companion to other Jeffers self-help books. When I'm feeling blue, or when I just want a refresher in some of Susan's positive ideas, I just start reading through this book. It is amazing how encouraging different statements can be at different times. Here are some samples chosen at random from the book: "Allow yourself confusion as you walk through life. It is our way of sorting things out. It is through confusion that we finally come to clarity." Or another: "When in the center of your Higher Self, you always have the best seat! It's always your party! The source of our love comes from within. No one out there is that source. It makes sense to go to the source." Another: "No matter what is going on in your life, you always have to remind yourself 'I am a strong, loving, and worthy person.' All situations in life flow harmoniously from this profound understanding of who you are." And so on. I highly recommend this book as a companion to Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway, along with Feel the Fear and Beyond. |
