I really enjoyed this book which is a classic. Given that it was written 200 years ago the style and pace make it a tougher read than a modern equivalent so you need the motivation of a serious interest in foxhunting to stick with it.

So much of what he writes holds true today which is wonderful, although the advice on servants is probably a bit out dated!
