The relationship swiftly becomes much more serious than she has anticipated, but the man in question proves to be harboring far more secrets than she could possibly have imagined... ...Those Who Kill - A Deadly Game ( Den som dræber - Dødens kabale ) ( Those Who Kill - Film 5 - Episodes 9 & 10 )

5.0 out of 5 stars Den som dræber - still on top form 1 Mar 2012
By Mikey TOP 100 REVIEWER
Format:DVD
Story 5 was the last of the Den som dræber mysteries which featured in the 2011 TV series on Denmark's TV2. A further feature film was made for cinematic release in March 2012, but TV2 decided not to renew the series claiming the ratings were not good enough. Overseas sales had been good for the series, but that was not enough.
Here we are then with Katrine (Laura Bach) and Thomas (Jakob Cedergren) seemingly happier in their love lives. Katrine meets a guy who sweeps her off her feet and shy Thomas is spending more time with his ex-wife Benedicte (Iben Dorner).
An au pair from eastern Europe is discovered murdered in a particularly brutal fashion and Katrine, Thomas and Bisgaard (Lars Mikkelsen) are hot on the trail of the killer. Two familiar faces from The Killing - Series 1 [DVD] [2010] pop up briefly in this story, Marie Askehave and Peder Holm Johansen (who played Rie Skovgaard and Leon Frevert in the 2007 DR hit) alongside Henning Valin (Policeman Jesper Andersson - Bron / Broen / The Bridge Series 1 Episodes 1 - 10 / The Candidate (2008) (Kandidaten) (Region 2) (Import)).
Story 5 is just as good as the others, it's just unfortunate that no more series will be made.
