After meeting an NLP practitioner I decided to find out more due to the help I received. It was more by luck than judgement that I chose Way of NLP, however, it provides a thorough outline of NLP explaining States, Submodalities, Chunking (my favourite term), Cues, Behaviour Beliefs etc. etc. The authors have been able to explain the concepts of the above in an understandable (not patronising) language and have given examples of how NLP techniques can be used. I have been able to read and digest the contents of the book and have found myself intelligently discussing different aspects at a level that surprises me - of course I have put NLP into use to help me achive this. It has encouraged me to learn more.

This book is a thought-provoking read that can help increase your self-awareness and thus aid you in your professional and personal life. It examines conscious and unconscious behaviour according to an individuals beliefs, capabilities and identity, and looks at ways in which you can improve your relationships with yourself and all around you.
This book is a fascinating read for both the trained psychologist and beginner.

Reprint of Principles of NLP, 1996 2 April 2002
By George Zee - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I was misled by the new title and publishing date and enthusiastically ordered multiple copies. But it was disappointing to discover that it is only a reprint. Please cf. my review of Principles of NLP two years ago. It is still a very good and lucid introduction to NLP, a complement to the author's Introduction to NLP, which did not include the Presuppositions.
(The book has 190 pages, not 224.)

I love this book!!! The authors explanations of NLP are so clear and easy to grasp. It's so full of practical, useable information. I am very pleased with it and will read it many times to study all the principles here.
good content - poorly written 1 Sep 2008
By L. Warner - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Content information is fabulous - became much clearer/comprehensive upon takinga course that covered the same information. Poorly written - dry, somewhat repetive in adjectives/adverbs etc. Worth the price, but have to be committed to the process to stay awake throughout.
