I saw this in a shop earlier and there is NO LOKI anywhere in it! What the hell! Everyone loves Loki!

Error of omission. 10 Nov. 2013
By Pauline Weiss - Published on Amazon.com
I'm not buying this calendar... it only has just ONE image of Loki? None of Kat Dennings or the Warriors Three or even Odin and Frigga? C'mon.

More Loki please 15 Nov. 2013
By Marianne S. Parker - Published on Amazon.com
Seriously 3 pictures of Jane Foster but only one of Loki? I mean it is a pretty good shot of him but still.. and nothing of Darcy or Frigga.... bah I think they could have cut Jane down to 1 and taken several of the thor ones out (since he is in half the calendar) to showcase more characters.

Not Bad Marvel 11 Nov. 2013

I bought this calendar without seeing the images and I actually like it. I am a little disappointed that they didn't include all of the characters like the warriors three, Frigga, Heimdall, Darcy, and Dr. Selvig. I'd prefer only one image per character just have everyone in it. The dates include the general holidays and is bright enough to write on and see the ink. I also includes one sheet with September, October, November, and December of 2013. Overall not a bad calendar.

Not bad calendar. The only thing that I didn't like is that it only has one picture of Loki. Anyway. it include the general holidays and you can write on it. Also you could save the pictures, if you'd want.
Maybe kids would like it? 21 Dec. 2013

Looks like my reaction is hardly unique, in having wanted more Loki. For context's sake, I only bought this calendar for the Loki photos. I was very disappointed to find it only had one photo of Loki, and it was one I didn't find very evocative. Perhaps I can hope then for some nice ones of Thor, or some with beautiful shots of Asgard in the background? Not really. There are several of Thor, but most of them are in the full Thor costume; if I'm going to, ahem, ogle him a bit, I'd rather it be in more normal clothes. There are two that fit that bill, and I and my female colleagues particularly enjoyed April, to the extent that my lady coworkers would show up in my office where I'd brought it in and say "I hear I should see April." The other one (I forget which month) is actually a still from a deleted scene, which is interesting (Thor's in "Earth" clothes, and sitting in what would seem to be Jane's apartment, possibly her bedroom). But then there are several pictures of Malekith and the Dark Elves and...no thanks.

So my rating of 2 stars is based specifically on what I was personally looking for in this calendar, and what I really didn't get from it. I actually sold it on at a discount to another colleague who has a 14-year-old daughter who's into Thor and the Avengers; she thinks her daughter will really like it, and I hope she will, too. Kids may enjoy this calendar much more than female adult Loki fans, who will probably be disappointed in it.
