I find these headphones to work much better than a Sennhauser set I bought at 7 times the price as far as sound quality & working distance is concerned.I also found that the 'Power' light appears to only light when power is on AND a signal is present which is the same as the Sennhauser phones.I initially put in a fully charged pair of batteries & the Thomson phones worked perfectly but the charge light did not come on. So I put in the supplied uncharged batteries & charge light came on & after 24hrs everything was fine.....batteries were charged but charge light was off. Maybe there is a voltage sensing built in which cuts the charge when the batteries reach a working level. I haven't yet seen it on again but the batteries still seem to have plenty of charge in them.
So everything is working & I'm happy with them.

I've discovered something that (hopefully) explains the power unit issue. I too have experienced the charging and power lights lighting intermittently. I've noticed that when switching on the headphones, the transmitter/charging unit seems to need to "find" a signal to start up, either from the audio source or the FM signal sent to the headphones itself. There is often there is a delay of a second or two before the lights come on, ie when the unit finds a signal and relays it to the headphones. Occasionally, I have to switch channels at the back to get the headphones working, but usually as long as the unit is plugged in to an audio source and the volume is up, it works. Unfortunately the manual does'nt have any info on this, but it could be part of how the unit operates(?).
For the money the sound quality is good, and although the headphones are a bit bulky, they are quite light and comfortable to wear for long periods; I like the fact that the earpads are made of material rather than the typical plastic stuff that makes your ears sweat and disintergrates over time.

Very much the same as with Ryan Demaine. Ordered these and worked superbly for a few weeks - reception absolutely fantastic. Anyway, now the power unit has failed. When plugging the power lead in, the charging and power lights light very briefly and will not stay on. Basically, it won't work. Will wait to see what Amazon are going to do about this product and my order as it's fairly apparent now these have a residual fault - AVOID!

The headphones are quite easy to use and they provide the freedom to walk about the house and even into the garden and still hear the music as clear as sitting next to the speakers.
Another advantage with the Headphones is that you can listen to your music in the same room as your partner as they read a book or watch television.
Setting up the connections was straight forward, and putting the earphones on charge just needed getting to know which way round to put them on the base. A light shows that they are on charge.
All in all a good buy.

These wireless headphones are excellant value for money and far better than I expected. Use to use headphones occasionally, but whilst they had about a 2m wire, they kept getting tangled up and it was becoming a bother to keep taking them off when leaving the room. With the cordless they are so adaptable and flexible - I now use them for the tv a lot as it keeps the noise down for others late at night ie. neighbours, especially if listening to music. Also when theres an ad. break, leave the room wearing them to go to the bathroom or kitchen and you don't miss the next part of the programme. The range is phenominal - theres a big field behind where I live and some football was on tv - went outside to see my kids for something. Was still wearing the headphones and the reception was still great. Everybody wanted to listen - managed to run back inside to see the replay of a goal just scored! To sum up - one of the cheaper brands on the market but high quality product with very good reception. Has three wave band signals to tune into if required, easy to install with just a few wires and plugs. Also adaptable to use with tv, laptop, dvd player - in fact any audio equipment.

I purchased these to replace my infra red set that I use with my PC. Now I can listen to my music all round the house and garden not just in the room with the computer. The sound is good , they are comfortable and the only gripe I have is that when you first use them there seems to be about a 20 second delay before any sound comes out(anybody help please)other than that very happy recommended.
