Don't waste your money on this - my 3 year old was disappointed that the moves are not dictated by numbers. The whole thing is too clever by half and if it wasn't for the Thomas brand, it would have had trouble being marketed in the first place. Just my opinion, but buy your child 'snakes and ladders' if you want good value.

This really is just fine for the low price tag. It includes a little flip out board that'll introduce your little one to the standard boardgame format for the first time. The little plastic carriages are sweet, they come with little glossy photo cardboard inserts that can be clipped into the front of the carriages to make them look like cute little toy trains. This isn't the game of the century no, but it's a sweet little colour recognition, turn taking and concentration span exercise for little Thomas fans. Ideal for three and four year olds I think, and worth a fiver.
