Format:Paperback
Promissing "precise definitions[..] regardless of your level of expertise" this book defintely falls short of it's target.
Having to use this book for a can.it university course, I find that app. 2/3 of the terms used in the industry is simply not covered in the book. The situation is even worse as for the area of TeleCommunication where the book fails to list a wast majority of even the most elementary terms!
What's more, the terms it does list, it does so very poorly. In fact I found that MS Computer Dictionary listed network and telecom terms much more specific and exact, than did this book!
The only pros I can honestly find about this book is it's low price and the fact that it's so new.
All in all a pretty poor book.

Excellent Resource for all IT Professionals

This book really fills a gap in my library. There is no possible way that you can ever learn (or would want to learn) every acronym related to networking. This book explains the mainstream acronyms and provides valuable explanations to help you understand the meaning. I would recommend this book to everyone involved in IT. It has found a permanent place on my desk.
