A lovelly collcetion. This Box set contains all 26 original Railway Series books By W.Awdry. Each individual book is a numbered hardcover and contains the original illustations from when they were first published. The box keeps the books in good condidtion. while this is more expensive than the other "complete collection" book that you can pick up for 15-20 Pounds, this is never the less a fine item to have if you are a fan, or want your children to read 1 small book at a time.I was lucky in that I managed to pick this up brand new for £30 a few years ago,(the retail price originally on the box is £109!)still I would say anything under £60 is a good deal for all 26 individual books.

If you want the original set of Thomas books, this is by far the best way to do. I own a set, bought individually, of all the 26 original books, and I was very pleased to get hold of this collection for my children. It's got the 26 books written by the Rev W Awdry as individual hardbacks, and is a fantastically good way to read the stories to children.

We've bought this item twice now as a Christening gift. It makes a fabulous collectible and will be well used when the boys are older.
