I bought this for my son shortly before his second birthday and he loved it. Doesn't require any track and it made him giggle with the quote "Bust my Buffers!". Also says "Hello, I'm Thomas" and "I'm the number 1 blue engine". Small in size but perfect for little hands and very durable.

The actual toy is much much smaller than what it appears in the picture on the website. It is the size of a small matchbox, perhaps a trifle larger. It is well made and has good sound effects, but would have been much nicer if it had been a little bigger.

this is a lovely toy however i thought i was buying a toy from birth (my error) and bigger so i was a tad disappointed. My little one loves it tho so as long as i supervise play (he is a chewer you see) all is ok.
