I bought this for my 2 year old grandson, and he loves it. He quickly removed the 4 Thomas toys from the drawer and they have not been back in since!
It is bright, but with an albeit flimsy Thomas clip on montage which I suspect will soon be broken/lost, but for now he loves taking it on and off!
Build quality is good, but it should be as I assmbled most of it. I appreciate manufacturers need easy to pack goods, but come on, this was in so many pieces it took me back to those days of Christmas when I was younger and having to assemble Lego kits...!
However, that little beef aside, it is good value for money from Amazon hence the 5 stars.

This Thomas scooter needs a bit of assembling (it comes in a surprisingly small box!) but it comes with a spanner to put it all together. Once assembled it consists of a scooter with a drawer at the base which contains several Thomas vehicles. The trains (and helicopter!) look very similar to those in the Take & Play range but are plastic rather than Die-Cast metal, the wheel base is slightly narrower too. Although plastic they feel very solid and should last - probably longer than the scooter!
The scooter is metal and providing it is looked after should provide lots of playtime. However the wheels aren't heavy duty ones so play is probably best restricted to the garden. The plastic clip on Thomas decal on the handlebars clips and unclips easily, that's not a problem however as my little boy loves putting it on and taking it back off again. This isn't the sturdiest of scooters and you may find that the front wheel misaligns with the handlebars put all you need to do is hold one and turn the other to straighten them back up again.
The base is plastic and it seems quite brittle, if you have older children who fancy a go then they will need to be careful as going down a bump or a step resulting in a whack to the plastic would probably break it, and with the drawer underneath it is very low to the ground.
In a nutshell: A perfectly good scooter for youngsters to play with in the garden, but if older siblings are likely to have a go too then you may want to look for something a bit sturdier. The bundled trains are solid plastic and look much better than I expected them to.

My son likes this toy and it's fairly sturdy however the front shield broke the first day he had it so that was disappointing. It's a colourful toy with a nice little drawer for the kids to keep items in. It's sturdy too with the two wheels on the back. Just a shame that the quality wasn't the best.

Happy Toddler
Had one very happy toddler and like the fact some toy trains come with the scooter and are stored in the base. A nice touch if your taking them to the park
