Format:DVD
Having read the two previous reviews about this DVD there was no way I was going to pay so much for 4 episodes of Thomas - however my Thomas obsessed little boy had the title of this DVD on repeat from his mouth like a broken record (how do they do that?) You would have thought his life depended on owning this DVD - anyway I spotted it in our Library and after he'd been particularly good one week I decided to rent it - I think if he could have done a back flip when he saw it then he probably would have - he came close - and I put it on and we sat and watched it together - to his delight (and suprisingly mine - what's happening to me?) we saw the return of Hiro - I think he's in 3 of the four episodes - the upshot of it all was that I had one delighted child with a new much loved DVD (and a future fight on my hands when I had to return the DVD to the library) - yes it is only four episodes they are in the new animation format like Hero of the Rails (which he also loves)- I ended up buying it from Amazon at a price that I was happy to pay.

In this day and age, there is really no excuse for this kind of shoddiness. A flimsy four episodes. Not even an hour. When I was young, I had no problem sitting through over 2 hours of Thomas.
These new animated episodes lack the charm and vitality of the live action version, and its sad to see this once great institution reduced to this.
Only the other week, they released a DVD with 28 episodes on. 28!! But this - 4! A total rip-off, Hit entertainmnet should hang their head in shame.

This is a great thomas and friends dvd, my son is a huge thomas fan and just loves this dvd, maybe a little too much. I'm looking forward to his 2 birthday so he can have another thomas dvd.

this is a great Thomas dvd, my grandson loves it. It's a good story and my grandson was glued to the tv. Great viewing for Thomas fans

Thomas & Friends DVD
Got this to keep my son happy whilst on holiday he loves everything Thomas the stories were ones he hadn't seen before so he loved it.
