Initially this item seemed very good. When it arrived at home my boy was very excited to get it out the box & get it on the wall. It only used 1 AA battery (not included) so was very easy to get going & put up on the wall.
The first issue we noticed was that once we had set the time, we couldn't actually see the hands against the face of the clock. The hands are black & the funnel on thomas is black. This made it very hard to try & teach our boy what the time was. The clock isn't as bright as it seems on the picture.
Secondly & most importantly was the noise the clock made when it was ticking. I appreciate clocks tick, but when i can hear it ticking in my son's bedroom whilst i'm sat watching TV in the lounge downstairs then something is wrong. And after a few hours my son then started complaining that it was too noise & he couldn't sleep.
So to conclude, don't buy this clock for a childs bedroom. It might be fine for a play room or kitchen. I'm sure that i can find a better quality clock for a similar price without Thomas on it & he'll enjoy it just as much.

I purchased this clock for my 3 year grandson and it now sits proudly on his bedroom wall. He loves Thomas the Tank engine and this clock is delightful and brightly coloured.
Disappointed with purchase.
Bought clock for my son's 6th birthday, but only 2 weeks later it no longer kept the time properly.
The "seconds" hand kept sticking on numbers 1 & 3 - product had to be returned & left my wee boy disappointed at the space left on his wall.
