Product Description

Atmospheric, dark and comaniding - Brisbane'a Dead Letter Circus are not easy to classify. Combining souring choruses and expert musicianship with undeniable intensity. DLC have become one of the hottest rock bands in the country. - --This text refers to an alternate Audio CD edition.

Hooked onto these guys on the back of Karnivool and Cog. The album combines power and passion so missing from Transatlantic and most British rock at present, and bands like Dead Letter Circus deserve to be huge but seem to get little exposure in Europe. Best described as Alt rock meets Industrial I guess, for me the real stand out track is The Cage.

Cant praise this band highly enough !!!

I bought this CD on the basis of hearing one track on Kerrang radio in the UK in 2011 and I haven't stopped listening to it since. Every track is superb. I can't understand why Warner Music UK have not promoted the Band or released the CD in the UK. I'm now in the process of buying there other CD's.

I guess the Amazon reviewer means 'soaring' but can't spell. As such the choruses are very much reminiscent of Circa Survive, with songs filled with light and dark building to sweeping crescendos. While no individual track stands out the album holds the attention well, has unity and is powered throughout by engagingly intricate bass and drums. Not up to the standards of Karnivool but similarly complex, angst-ridden stuff.....
