Well, well, well, what can I say? I've heard many metal bands that seem to to just sprung up out of nowhere and all of a sudden have a huge fan base. Mendeed are one of those bands but stand apart from the crowd. shredding, screaming, beating and galloping at 100MPH, this astounding disc will have you head banging and air guitaring throughout, whilst keeping your undivided attention. Some songs may seem a bit samey in parts but I'm sure you can find the same thing with most of the bands you listen to.

Give this young Scottish band a chance, you will NOT be dissapointed in the SLIGHTEST if you know your metal!

following their mini album and an ep comes this their debut and it rocks and shreds like a demon in a tank, yes its thats intense, these scots clearly have something to say and they do it on this album with plenty of passion, they are influenced by maiden but most are but they scream and growl in the vein of say ...ah yes phil anselmo ,thats a winning combination in anyones books, this isnt the greatest album in the world but mendeed will improve and do you want to be there with them, yes i think you should

On the first couple of listens I thought that this was a 3 or 4 star album. Since then I have changed my mind as nothing stands out and makes you want to play it again.

If you want fast metal there are many better bands out there. No really bad tracks; it just does not stand the test of time.

Scottish metal it it's best. Loved this band. Seen them live a few times before. Shame they disbanded. Good quality metal.

i bought this cd at there concert last night (10th jan 2006 - king tuts wah wah hut - glasgow) and well what a cd it starts with a sort of traditonal scottish song played on the uilleann pipes providing an almost dark build up for the 1st track that hits you like a punch to the face it very heavy with the fast drums and screaming vocals the next song "Stand As One And Fight For Glory" keeps to the same pattern as dose the rest of the cd so if u like your metal music hard fast and heavy get this cd now you will not be dissaponted and help a cool new band from glasgow make it to the big time.
