Really good follow-up 26 Nov 2004
Format:Audio CD
I'm so glad I found Chevelle. They are a breath of fresh air in the Nu-Metal genre, and I have loved them ever since hearing "Closure" on a web radio. Following up the great "Wonder What's Next" album was always going to be a difficult task for them, but on this album they've managed to keep that consistency that makes them so great. It is by no means a classic and doesn't break any musical boundaries, they have just stuck to their original sound, which was a wise move (Why try to fix something that isn't broke?) and created some fantastic tunes that will be gracing my CD player for months to come. Standout tracks include; "Get Some", "Vitamin R" and "Breach Birth". Although this album may not be as good as "Wonder What's Next" it is certainly a great continuation and a worthy contender for best Nu-Metal album of 2004.

Wow! This is an excellent album and a great follow up to wonder what's next? Very 'Tool'esque, which is never a bad thing. This album rocks and will make you reach for the volume switch in your car for definate! Shame won't get to see them live. If you like this then check out the butterfly effect oh lordy!

Lovely stuff 1 Sep 2005
Format:Audio CD
An excellent album from the chicago hard rockers. As the last reviewer did say not the greatest album in the world but an extremely solid one with no tracks being great dissapointments. Standout tracks Panic Prone, The Clincher, Vitamin R and Still Running. Sadly not many people in the uk will probably get to hear of them. Well worth a listen for any ardent fan of hard alternative rock. Good stuff
