Well at last someone as taken the time to write about how it was in Sheffield back in the day, Sheffield had plenty of punx and it was a great place to see gigs and this book captures it all.
The book has quotes from people who were there and i know its true as i was too.
We had so such fun being punx in Sheffield there was always somewhere to go and plenty of mates to go with .
Reading this book will take you right back to the days when you just had to work through most city centres and you would see gangs of colourfull punx and if you were in Sheffield it would have been us.
This book brought back so many happy memories for me like all the gigs we went to eg Marpels bring a toy, Punx could get into the gig cheaper or free ( carnt rememeber ) if they brought a toy which would then be given to needy kids. What a sight queues of punx all holding toys .
Fantatic read if you were there back in the day or even if you missed it . Well done once again Tony .

Another brilliant read by the author Tony Beesley to complete the third book in the series.
If you have read the last two books and enjoyed them, then this 3rd book will surely deliver the goods without question.
The book is based on the music scene and the fashion of an era in and around the South Yorkshire area.
Looking at peoples memories and past events that inspired and motivated their own lives throughout the punk, ska, mod and the new wave era's. First class accounts relived to bring back many own personal recollections of growing up within this period. There's loads and loads of pictures throughout the many periods of music and styles of our generation.
An inspiring read and well recommended.
