4.0 out of 5 stars Worth a read 18 Dec 2011
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
This was bought as a birthday present for a friend and went down extremely well. I confess to not having read it but apparently it gives a great insight into the life of a footballer in the 70's.
A lifestyle completely removed from the celebrity status of today's overpaid, ego inflated, ball kickers!!!!
Recommended for those who hark back to the good old days and remember such players as the Charlton brothers, Pat Jennings, Kevin Keegan,Peter Barnes and Steve Coppell!
A bit of nostalgia for all football fans.
