You were stuck in Jakarta when the currency-crisis hit. That was scary, with the riots in the streets, and the other big hotel in flames, and the power going out. It wasn't much better when the Police gave up and ran, and the militias ran the city while the army laid siege to it. How the hell can you get out of here? Having a multi-millionaire as a boss should be helpful, but he's a continent away, and the mercenaries he has hired seem to be having problems getting to you. But you run online games, right? These people solve puzzles. Maybe they can solve this one. Maybe, too, they can solve the puzzle of why your colleague and friend was assassinated in a Russian Maffiya hit? And what do heuristic software bots have to do with it all?
This is a page-turner. A whodunnit, in a way, but with more twists of the plot than you can imagine. And everything logical. A fine read.
