Fills a gap,

Until 1962 no one had heard of Frankie Valli in the U K and the singles he made in the 50s were scattered on various budget labels like Coronet and Guest Star.Jasmine has now gathered together all this material -which includes the LP made as the 4 Lovers previously-and issued it as a double CD. Many of these songs were made by others with at least 3 members of the soon to be 4 Lovers/Seasons as backup singers.Which is why the voice sounds vastly different on some of the songs.Everything is here regardless of quality-Valli's version of White Christmas is pretty bad-and its noticeable how many of these songs were remade by the 4 Seasons or Frankie Valli himself (My mother's eyes-the first one on here) 5 stars for the actual project though not everything works as well as it did with the 4 Seasons
