Just fabulous - as always! A glorious mix of traditional folk with some elegant "heavy" rock. A sort of Led Zeppelin crossed with early Curved Air, and a dash of Fairport Convention. Or possibly vice versa. Anyway - expect startling drums, screaming violin, thundering bass lines and scary gothic vocals... A refreshing change to the usual drivel that the record companies spew up for the delectation of the masses. And DANCE!!!!! [Health Warning: It is inadvisable to listen to this music whilst driving, working with heavy machinery, learning fencing, doing the cooking or any other activity that requires your full concentration.]

This album, Bluehorses' final recording, brings back bittersweet memories for me. When it was released, I'd just lost someone close to me. Their legendary 'Krimblyboddle' gigs were legendary for a reason - the one they played at Winchester in December 2007 was the last time I saw them, shortly before they split. Get this album - it's rock n' roll, it's metal, it's folk, it's just... just trust me and get it. They were fabulous.

Marvelous! 4 Jun 2008
Their best album yet, with plenty of lively rocking folk. In particular their revamp of the Raggle Taggle Gypsio is absolutely wonderful and sure to get your feet stomping. Listen to this one all the way up loud! It's guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
