This is the type of music that should have been the soundtrack to something like The Wickerman, all swirling strings and thumping percussion. The tunes (if you can call them that) are somewhere between free improvisation and a hypnotic magical ceremony truly a strange mixture but a highly addictive one. A unique group a true one-off!

With Dream Theory by Jon Hassell, this is one of the greatest world music albums of all times. Here, Third Ear Band pushes the envelope for a trip to other continents and times. Can't decide which among the four tracks is the best. Recommended.

Lay back and be transported into a pre-medieval pagan time when man was at the mercy of the elements, and the natural world seemed full of the spirits of the air, earth , fire and water. And so the four tracks are named, each one beautifully describing its title. The mystery and feel of this album created by just a violin, cello and drums. Fantastic.
