This is the second book I've bought by Wendy Green - the first was about migraines. I was surprised by the previous reviewer's comments - I found an awful lot of useful information - especially on diet, stress and supplements in this book.
There is a comprehensive section on supplements - including some I'd not heard of previously - such as phytodolor and SAMe. There is even a handy 'supplement selector' which helps you choose the most effective supplement for your type of arthritis. If the previous reviewer had read this section fully she might have noticed that stinging nettle was rated as having only 'limited effectiveness', whereas capsaicin gel, phytodolor and SAMe were highly rated for osteoarthritis. Fish body oil was highly rated for rheumatoid arthritis. What particularly struck me was the amount of research and evidence given regarding supplements - hence my surprise at the previous review.
All in all this is a very useful, easy-to-understand and comprehensive guide to arthritis.
