Great History for Kids,

I bought this for my six year old son before a planned holiday to Rome. He loves the book and has been fascinated ever since, reading it himself and having it read to him. It's very well presented with each subject on a double page and lots of short segments to keep children's interest. The illustrations are colourful and clear and related very specifically to the text. Best of all the subjects and facts are the type kids love, about soldiers, animals, how the Romans ate... even throwing up at banquets ! Any inquiring child will find plenty to interest them. A lot of thought has gone into making this book suitable for kids and it really shows.
