4.0 out of 5 stars A good guide 20 Jan. 2013

If you are going to Paris, even if it for just a few days, you will find this book very useful. Paris is lovely but it is expensive and some of the idea in here were very useful.
I applied for and got 2 seats at the fashion show at Galleries Lafeyette and it was not the fault of the book that we were sat at the very back of the room watching groups of people watching a fashion show.I have e-mailed Galleries and registered a complaint.
I also visited the 'Bercy Village and was rather disappointed but that is because I have been to several McCarther Glen Villages and to Bicester Village. Bercy Village is very small by comparison but does have ome great restaurants.I will be going to Paris again soon and will be reading this book again

A little scant on detail but for the price, was worth getting but not something I'd really buy again for a different city.

1.0 out of 5 stars waste of money 4 April 2013
By angela
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I was extremely disappointed with this book. Trying to write 101 free things to do in Paris while there are probably just about 40 results in rediculous suggestions like walking for free on a bridge! A few tips were interesting but most of it was just trying to make up the number 101. Don't waist your money there are much better guides.
