This book is very well written and explains in simple terms the various types of eczema that affects people. There is a list of various emollients that are helpful and give much relief from the constant irritation. There is emphasis on how stress and emotion affect the skin as well as the importance of a good balanced diet. There are many useful and common-sense tips for controlling the intense itching that occurs and much good advice about complementary Therapies to try. As well as a comprehensive list of useful products that are available there is also a list of various books and organisations which provide useful further information.
GENERAL COMMENTS: Wendy Green writes very well in her chosen subjects. I would strongly recommend her books.

I first took this book out from my local library for my wife, she was very impressed with the features in the book, concerning a condition that she as suffered with since she was a child, that she asked me to purchase a copy. My daughter also asked me to purchase a copy for her friend who as just had a child with the same condition. Since receiving the book my wife and especially my daughters friend, have found out ways to alleviate some of the painful effect of this very bad condition. I say that if you suffer or know any one who suffers from this condition, do read this book.
