This is a very unusual self-help/inspirational book. Normally an author of such a book will try their utmost to make you think the way they do, as if there is no other way you could or should reasonably think. Gloria Pelcher doesn't do that.
Gloria Pelcher offers and explains what she believes, then lets the reader decide if it makes sense in their life. She claims no superiority in the self-help/inspirational field. It is through this humility that she offers 30 beliefs she is convinced of. Her motivation is clearly to make other lives better.
The book is well organized so that you can find any of her 30 principals easily and be reminded of them. It's a very short book, but it didn't need to be longer. Gloria Pelcher gets right to the point, so you can get a lot of good advice in just a few minutes.
