Really impressed with this book addressing all those questions you are not sure about when faced with the trauma of house selling or buying.
Clearly written and the GANTT Chart is really helpful in setting out the stages.
Have only used it for trying to sell the house so far and so we are waiting and hoping! If lucky we will be able to see how the buying sections help us.
Always useful to have lying on the coffee table when the Estate Agents come calling ;-)

This is a practical no nonsense guide that chapter by chapter takes your hand and leads through the maze and mayhem of buying. The chapter on what to look for when viewing a property certainly saved me from getting caught up in the excitement of seeing something I really liked. But for the book, I'd have actually missed the mushrooms growing behind the door... Don't view a property without it...

I was buying a new flat and selling my existing one when I came across this book. Some of the suggestions are really basic but overall is a good read as it helped me achieving a higher sales price thanks to the "do not use only one agency" tip. Worth a read.
