3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty basic, repeats 16 Aug. 2014

Pretty basic information. Great for someone who doesn't know where to start with this effort. It does repeat a few of the same tips so there aren't really 50. Each to has a brief description. If it isn't clear to you how to do it, you can search online. Many bloggers share much off this same info.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great tips -- this would be perfect for anyone new to grocery shopping (college students?) 16 Aug. 2014

I have a hard time grocery shopping sometimes...this book had lots of neat ideas for me. I learned about uses for potato peelings, when to stock up on certain things, avoiding brand names, not shopping when hungry, etc

This book would be great for a college student or someone new to shopping on a budget. If you already know how to browse circulars and keep costs down, you probably don't need to buy.
