"Impossible to put down" (Sunday Telegraph)

"Gripping tale" (Independent on Sunday)

"An exciting and ambitious story . . . Behind the fast-moving adventure and the gadgets and gizmos of the 21st century, however, lies a moral tale which successfully raises important issues about conscience, society and human behaviour" (TES)

"Gets off to an exciting start and the tension never lets up" (Newcastle upon Tyne Evening Chronicle)

Book Description

Thief! is a gripping futuristic novel about friendship, trust and the importance of forgiveness from the author of the bestselling Noughts and Crosses sequence.

From the Back Cover

You're the new girl in school. You're just trying to fit in - and it's not working.

Then someone accuses you of theft, and you think things can't get any worse. Until you get caught in a freak storm . . .

The next thing you know, you're in the future. Being shot at for being out after curfew. You barely recognise your hometown.

And you're heading for a confrontation from your worst nightmare.
