About the Author
Gordon Morrison, son of Rachel and Gordon, was born at the Cottage Hospital, Peterhead Scotland in August 1963. The youngest of four brother's and one sister Katherine Angela Morrison, who sadly died of meningitis at the age of nine month's. Gordon was brought up at number Two Seaview Road Boddam, and hence, became a Boddamer. Gordon still lives in Boddam, a place he loves so dearly, and was compelled to write in Boddam Doric to help preserve some of his "Mither Tongue," the Scot's language that he was brought up in and mean's so much to him.

Best Doric read so far, with real life character's and story's aswell as useful translations from Doric to English. Very funny aswell ,keep up the good work so our language can stay alive, brilliant book. Keep's alive the history of the North east Coast of Scotland. thank's to this author.

wonderfully funny account of this young `loons` life, great to see someone writting in their `mother` tongue... only took 2 or 3 pages before I was fluent in doric!!.. written with an amazing sense of humor, would love to meet this guy and see if he still has that `wicked` sense of mischief that comes through in his stories... thankyou, very funny read.

Full of very good story lines, like the authors own autobiography full of doric humour, and real stories that makes it all the more facinating.
Once I got my head in tune with the doric dialect, I couldn't put the book down until I'd read all.
