For those of you that don't know, this is the last full-length album by Daisy Chainsaw. This is post-Katie Jane Garside (after she left the group), and pre-Queen Adreena (when Katie Jane Garside & Crispen Grey got back together and formed a new, different band). The sound of the guitars, etc. is the same, but the vocals are marketedly different (A new vocalist is chosen for the group in this outing). Any die-hard fan knows that there is no replacement for Katie Jane's gruff vox/howl that she is known for in 11teen or the other ep's released when she was in the band. I have not found any singer before or since that has replicated this sound (including Katie Jane, ironically, as she chooses a more melodic tone for Queen Adreena). Still, this is a great CD for die-hard fans. Just think Daisy Chainsaw with a little more old-school sounding goth in the vocals. 11teen still remains in my top ten albums of all time. I wonder if Crispen & Katie Jane will ever venture into another project, or reform the fierceness that was Daisy Chainsaw? Good luck in ever finding this CD if you want it! I saw it once in Virgin Megastore in Hollywood, CA, USA, (quite a few years back) and I snatched it up so fast, and have never seen it since.

the second daisy chainsaw album is a lot more melodic than the first(eleventeen)but no less powerful/the vocals are markedly different to katie janes but the new vocalist does crispin grays superb songs justice/if you like queen adreena get this album/you will not be dissapointed/its a shame this album is virtually unknown as this wipes the floor with 95% of indie music around at the moment/a winner and highly recommended

Loved Daisy Chainsaw's first album, heard Diamond of the Desert and thought this was more of the same. Sadly, most of the album isn't like that song, I sit there listening to it and can't shake the thought... sounds like Transvision Vamp.
