Scientists investigating an unusual meteor shower in a rural field in England are possessed by an alien force bent on an ulterior purpose.

Product Description

Late 1960s British B-movie sci-fi horror. When a mysterious meteor shower occurs above farmland in rural Cornwall, a team of scientists led by Dr. Curtis Temple (Robert Hutton) is sent in to investigate. The scientists soon find themselves possessed by an alien force which wants to use them as slaves - apart from the indomitable Dr Temple, who appears to be protected from the deadly alien force by a metal plate fitted to his head after being injured in a car crash.

3.0 out of 5 stars Looks like a 3rd generation video copy! 30 Dec 2011
Format:DVD
The story is an enjoyable story from Amicus. It reminds me of a poor man's Invasion of the Bodysnatchers. However the quality of the DVD transfer is dire! I haven't seen such poor quality transfers since watching old video in the 1980s! I am surprised that my DVD player didn't "spit" out the disc in disgust!

4.0 out of 5 stars Don't be misled 6 Oct 2012
Format:DVD|Amazon Verified Purchase
Not sure how or why but it seems reviews for an earlier low grade dvd release of They Came From Beyond Space are being attributed to this Studio Canal dvd release of the film, the print quality on this release is fine unlike the other release,as for the film itself is a fun piece of low budget sci-fi madness that is at times rather inventive, yet at others so hilariously silly, but well worth a watch if you liker low budget thrills.
