5.0 out of 5 stars hugely entertaining, 13 Dec 2006

The funniest thing I have read in a long time. A brilliant composition of lonely heart adds that range from side splittingly funny to just plain weird. I didn't think that people could be so open, direct and funny just by writing 30 words about themselves. I can't think of anybody who wouldn't enjoy this book, an ideal gift that i've passed on to many friends and family members.

5.0 out of 5 stars Genuinely Hilarious., 15 Jun 2008

(TOP 500 REVIEWER)    (REAL NAME)
This book takes pride of place as my favourite toilet read, next to Letterbox by Viz. A quintessential selection of British humour, intelligence and wit, combined with quiet desperation and understated sexual frenzy, you just know that more than half these submissions are written to entertain instead of attract a mate. Let's face it, if you were as half as funny as these personal ads are, you wouldn't be crying yourself to sleep every night in your lonely bedsit or mansion. Buy it, and find your heart warmed by the human condition.

5.0 out of 5 stars Genius, 7 Jan 2008
If only it wasn't published by a total arse who wouldn't know how to market a good book if he was fisted over his own toilet of accidental successes by Market McMarkety of the clan McMarket from Markettown, Marketborough, Marketshire (it's just off the M3).
