with a stellar cast like this and a dead cert story line you'd expect great things.WRONG! these old frauds seem to just be going through the motions (maybe they had taxes due that needed to be paid).the premise is great with chances of witty, caustic bichiness as collins, reynolds and mclaine play the part of an old feuding girl singing group and taylor as their agent arranging a tv special reuniting them.what you actually get is joan collins revealing more of that tired old body any chance she gets, elizabeth taylor hamming it up in the worst way, debbie reynolds filmed through about 6 feet of gauze and shirley maclaine reprising her "postcards from the edge" persona.presumably aimed at the "pink pound/dollar" this tries SO hard to be "camp" with them even going to a gay bar and doing a routine but it just dosn't work and ends up just being cringeworthy.such a wasted opportunity.you'd have more fun at an autopsy
