The short answer is yes. I bought this item on the strength of the previous reviewer's comments. Thank you to them as they are entirely right in what they say.
Pros and cons I experienced when buying and installing.
Fits standard bath. Tap mixer seems substantial but the riser, shower hose and shower head is a cheap addition. You would do well to buy the mixer on its own (available through this supplier I believe) and purchase a better riser elsewhere. The one included is rubbish in my view.
Fitted easily enough to a standard bath and worked straight out of the box. Unfortunately, water pressure from my combi boiler is not great and, oddly, the pressure I achieved before installing this mixer was better in the old unit. A nice looking, stylish item (mixer set and not riser). I have had to add a shower pump / electric spur to an RCD etc to get a decent pressure and am about to get a Mira shower head to replace the old phooey sent with this kit. I also replaced the too short cheapo hose with a two metre hose. The one supplied is simply too short for grown ups. It is a bit like Christmas - you know, you get one decent present and the rest are a load of old tat. However, you are grateful because you got something. A bit like this set. Good tap unit / poor shower head and riser kit. So, 4 stars because it is not a bad product at the price. It arrived quickly and intact.

This thermostatic bath mixer comes at half the price of the same or very similar bath mixers at the large high street and online DIY retailers. It fits standard 180mm bath taps and is an easy swap for the existing bath taps. I installed this for my parents and it is run from the cold rising main and hot water from a gas combi boiler so it is "mains pressure". Flow rate is very good and the shower maintains temperature without fear of scalding. The downside is the shower hose which is far too short (1200mm), so budget for replacing this with something of a useful length. That said, it's still very good value even if you have to buy a different hose.

This is one excellent piece of kit for the price. Works excellently and included in the box was all the fixing required to mount as bath taps or to use as a stand alone shower. As for operation - couldn't be easier. If you have manual mixer taps that are a pain to get the correct temperature all of the time and just as you get it, the dishwasher comes on and you get roasted, then this is the ideal solution. The hose is short but that isn't a big deal - replacements are available in your local DIY store.

Good shower
Great product. Hose is 1.5m which is just right for shower height (good to see manufacturer has responded to criticism). East to install. No silly narrow continental type pipes.

Thermostatic shower and bath tap
Really pleased with the thermostatic shower. The temperature gauge is consistent, so it makes a really good shower if your boiler is up to it (we run it off a combi-boiler). Read more
