We were stuck in the motorway snow last night and I had got our almost empty, new Thermos filled up with boiling water again at about 8.30pm at the service station just in case we were in need of hot drinks on the way. We eventually got home before midnight. Rather than switch on a kettle for hot drinks when we got in, I used some of the still boiling thermos water, then screwed the top back on and forgot to empty it. I've only just discovered that we hadn't emptied it (24 hours after it was filled) and as I was pouring the water down the sink just now I put my finger in the water and quickly pulled it out - it was almost too hot to touch and would certainly have made a decent cup of coffee in an emergency. I am very impressed and will definitely be looking at other flasks made by Thermos if we need to buy more.

Great product.Looks like an artillery shell but apparently if you drop it there is no need to worry because it is unbreakable..sort of..I will take their word for it.So far it has performed like a flask and thats good because it is a flask.

A shock
Simple test. I poured hot water into the flask and in coouple minutes or seconds the surface was warm. I don't think this way should any flasks work. Read more
