This practical instrument measures permanently the room air conditional and shows the air temperature and the humidity in large letters on the display. The hygrometer instrument was developed to monitoring the conditioners. You can monitoring the deepestworth and the highestworth with one automatic and one manual memory. The instrument has a very good display. The display is precise and easy to read. In many living rooms is the humidity to low, but in some basements or storages to high. The instrument is monotoring your rooms and warns you for unhealty breating air and mold-danger in to wet rooms. It memories also the min- and maxworths, so that you know, how the worths rise and sink in the night.

The name of this item seems to have been lost in translation. It doesn't control anything, it's just a thermometer (and hygrometer).
As the product photo shows, the display is large and unfussy, showing current, min and max for both temperature and relative humidity. Easy to read across a room. There's a switch on the back to switch between celsius (centigrade) and Fahrenheit. Relative humidity is displayed as a percentage value. You can choose the time of day at which the min and max readings are reset. You can also reset the min/max readings by holding down the button on the front for a few seconds.
The stand on the back looks like it would snap off fairly easily. It can be hung on a wall instead of using the stand. The readings are stable and precise. I can't really comment on accuracy, but the readings seem reasonable.
In contrast to the poorly translated name and product description, the English in the instruction leaflet is clear, concise, and complete.
It's not an object of outstanding beauty, but has a feel of unfussy German engineering about it (though it's made in China, of course). Inside the box, it came wrapped up in thin brown paper, which I assume is the result of green legislation, but somehow communicates the feeling of old-fashioned engineering values to me :-)

I specifically bought this to check on the temperature and humidity whilst storing my home made cheese. It constantly shows both highest and lowest readings at once meaning no need to push buttons. Just as well as it resides in a clear enclosure to monitor the conditions whilst the cheese matures. Well worth the money, looks well built, does what it says on the box.

We bought this product to monitor the correction of a damp problem in our home. Despite the misleading name (no 'Control' is involved), this is an excellent instrument for reading both temperature and humidity. It responds quickly to changes and provides max and min values over twenty-four hour slots (midnight to midnight) and for the period since the previous reset/power-up. The flip-out stand at the back of the instrument is perhaps a little flimsy, but is sufficient for the task. Overall, we are very pleased with this good-looking, accurate and well-packaged device which does exactly what we were expecting of it!
