Many of the high profile reviews you'll find via a Web search are spot on with this. Cable management is easy, the space inside is almost cavernous, and the stock ventilation fantastic. I run my i7-2600k overclocked to 4.4ghz in this thing and I struggle to get it beyond 50c, with the dropoff to idle being very quick. In my previous case I could top out at 70c. Board temps are ultra low too.
It is a beast, but the carry handle really does make it easy to move around, and the lighting effects are brilliant. Even better because you can switch them off too.
Installation took me 3 hours, including taking everything out of the old chassis: it's easily the best installation experience I've had.
Looks are divisive, true, but personally I think it's gorgeous, but clearly it's not in the 'unobtrusive' category. That said, it goes well in a room with white walls, even the boss (ie my wife) likes the look of it.
Yes it's expensive. But yes, it's definitely worth it.
