I bought this despite the lack of information about its composition. I still haven't finished listening to it but thought a few words would be in order to help those who follow.
This is a 4 CD set in a handsome folder about the size of an average paperback, with hard covers and a 96pp (approx) book bound in. The 99 tracks include everything of significance recorded by the Byrds from 1964 until 1990 according to the back cover blurb. Others better qualified than I can judge that claim. The selection includes pre-Byrds tracks, singles versions, a withdrawn version (Times they are a-changin'), live versions, alternate versions, Gram Parsons' vocals versions, instrumentals and soundtrack versions. The book contains the track listing, seven pages of celeb 'thoughts on the Byrds' and a 64pp illustrated essay by David Fricke. The whole lot is extremly handsome and good value for money.
