Vertical Horizon's first album, what can i say only genius can create such an unbelievable album. Keith Kane and Matthew Scannell were the only two band members in vertical hoizon at this point. It's mainly an acoustic album it's also very folky but it constantly surounds you with a calm and melow feeling ideal for relaxing or chilling out anywhere. Out of all their albums this is the most relaxing line up of chilled tracks ever.

I love Vertical Horizon, and this is by far my favouite record. The lyrics are brilliant and the harmonies are beautiful. It is simple and elegant music from the heart. If you like accustic music, I cannot reccommend this CD strongly enough.

I bought Everything You Want on a recommendation from Amazon and knew nothing about VH. I loved the album and thought why not buy another one. There and back again couldn't be any different from my first purchase. It is a completely folk based album and totally reeled me in with its excellent melodies, harmonies and fantastic vocals. I was expecting something much heavier but what the hell, I got James Taylor like music. I soon realised though that these guys are some of the best song writing talent around these days. I cannot wait to see what direction their new album will take us when their new CD is issued in sept 2003.

If this album doesn't make you breathless then you have no heart and Ol' Nick owns your soul.
Came across this on an Amazon recommendation. Other reviewers have said enough about the guitar and vocals - I will use one word: brilliant. But the lyrics do it for me. Sometimes poignant, sometimes joyful, always thoughtful, and beautifully crafted into each song.
Your CD collection will be richer with this in your CD rack - but you'll not take it out of your player !
