5.0 out of 5 stars Brand new, good quality 21 Dec 2011
By Sheng
Format:Paperback
Brand new, good quality. However, I supposed a low Reynolds number wind tunnel chapter inside, there are wind tunnel data vary from Re=3e6 to Re=9e6. A bit disappointed. Nevertheless a classic aerodynamic book

5.0 out of 5 stars Old but still the reference 2 Mar 2010
Format:Paperback
A) This book is very good value for money.
B) It is the easiest way to get lift values for airfoil sections.
C) It is always given as reference in technical documentation about airfoils.

4.0 out of 5 stars Theory of Wing Sections 28 April 2009
Format:Paperback
A very good and in-depth study of 2D airfoil theory. The mathematical details are expressed in a relatively clear way although there are certain cases where it may be a bit difficult to follow as certain steps are skipped. The topics are presented in an orderly manner with particular emphasis on the comparison between the theory and experimental results. A new updated version including some developments in the field would be highly useful as certain aerodynamic techniques are now becoming out of date.
