Review

"This book is a landmark in two fields. It is a practical guide to the reform of professional education. It is also a beacon to theoretical thinking about human organizations, about their interdepAndence with the social structure of the professions, and about theory in practice." ––Journal of Higher Education "This is a fundamentally important book. It strikes directly to the heart of real education––changing behavior." ––Administrative Science Quarterly

5.0 out of 5 stars It's the more importat book that I have studied. 24 April 1997

Format:Paperback
I know about 70 consultants that have studied this book during one or two years, and their words about it are always the same: terrific, essential, the more important book, actual, and so...

3.0 out of 5 stars Challenging but true 5 May 2009
By Milton Bulian - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
As an online doctoral learner, I was required to read this book for my "First Course." The thought processes required to gain any insight from the book are challenging, so say the least. Nonetheless, what the authors say is so true, compared to my own work environment. Model 1 behavior and thinking run rampant in American business culture. Why can't we all just get along? Because of our stinkin' thinkin'. Reading this book kept me from taking a promotion that would have eaten my sack lunch.
